Ad campaigns: artwork, spots, codes and reports
Someone points their phone at your ad, the AdsPog app recognises the artwork and opens your campaign: products, the offer, a code. When the code is used at your till, the sale shows in your reports. Campaigns need Street ads in your package.
Creating a campaign
- On Campaigns, click New campaign. The editor has six steps across the top: Basics, Artwork, Spots, Products, Points, Review & submit.
- In Basics, write the Title, Offer text, Button label (CTA) and About this campaign. Azerbaijani text is required. English and Russian are shown to people using the app in those languages; without them they see the Azerbaijani text.
- Pick the Campaign type: Product (products in the ad, online purchase), Offer (a discount at the till) or Service (enquiries, orders). Set the category and the start and end dates.
- Upload a Cover image: it is shown on the campaign card in the app, and a vertical 4:5 picture works best. Add a website, promo code and phone if you need them.
- Click Create draft; the other steps open once the draft exists. The preview on the right shows how the campaign will look in the app.

Artwork
This exact image is what the camera recognises. Upload the print file itself: flat, full frame, no mock-up and no photo of it. One campaign can have several, for example different designs for a billboard and a citylight.
- In Artwork, click Upload artwork (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB).
- Check the Recognition quality: Good, Fair or Poor. A poor image has little detail and may not be recognised; for a mostly empty design, upload a version where the logo and text are clear.
- For a digital screen, use Upload video: mp4, mov or webm, up to 100 MB and 60 seconds. AdsPog extracts key frames, so a scan works whichever frame is on screen. Processing usually takes under a minute.
- Once the ad is up, use Test with a photo and choose a picture of it taken on a phone. The panel answers Recognised or Not recognised. If it isn't, try again with the whole ad in frame and no glare.

Spots
A spot is a place where the ad physically hangs. Add each location separately: scans are counted per spot and broken down in the stats.
- In Spots, click the map or press Add spot. You can also search for the address.
- Give it a Name (for example Citylight 14) and a Type: billboard, citylight, bus shelter, digital screen, poster, building wrap, shop window or other.
- Under Place name (shown in the app), use a name people know, such as Near Gənclik Mall. The Radius is 150 m by default: scans within it count for this spot.
- If the campaign has several artworks, use Linked artwork to say which one hangs at this spot.

A scan made more than 3 km from every one of your spots is recognised but earns no points, so remember to add each new location.
Products
In a product campaign, list the products shown in the ad. Offer and service campaigns can be submitted without products.
- In Products, click Add product: name, price, old price, images, buy link, sizes and colours.
- Click Place hotspot, then click where the product is on the artwork. After a scan, the app shows these markers on top of the ad.
- If Points back on purchase is set, the customer gets that many points when they buy this product with an AdsPog code.
Points and codes
Points give people a reason to scan your ad. You fund them and you set the limit. A campaign without points shows as No points on this one in the app.
- In Points, switch on Award points for scans and enter the Points per scan.
- Set a Points budget. When it runs out, scans stop earning points while the campaign stays visible. Leave it empty and points are given until the campaign ends. Estimated reach at the top shows how many rewarded scans the budget covers.
- Repeat scans: Once per person or Once a day per person.
- Optionally add a Boost (a points multiplier until a date, shown as a 2× badge in the app), a Brand set bonus (a one-off bonus for scanning all your live campaigns), a Walking bonus and a Bonus on purchase.

How codes work
- After scanning, the customer taps Get my code in the campaign. The code looks like SPT-7F3K9Q, sits in the app's Wallet and stays valid until the campaign ends, for at most 30 days.
- At the till you rarely need to read the code: scanning the AdsPog card shows the customer's offer from this campaign. For someone without the card, type the code on the By code tab.
- A customer who scanned the campaign but didn't take the code also sees the offer on their card; the code is created when the cashier presses Apply.
Review and statuses
- In Review & submit, check the Required list: at least one artwork, at least one spot, an Azerbaijani title, valid dates (end in the future) and a cover image. Go next to a missing item opens that step.
- Recommendations don't block submitting, but read them: missing translations, weak artwork, products without hotspots.
- Click Submit for review. AdsPog usually reviews campaigns within one business day; editing is locked meanwhile.

| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being prepared, not visible in the app. Delete draft removes it. |
| In review | AdsPog is reviewing it; editing is locked. |
| Rejected | The reason is shown at the top of the campaign. Fix it and click Resubmit. |
| Scheduled | Approved; it starts by itself on the start date. |
| Live | Visible in the app and scannable. |
| Paused | Hidden in the app and scans earn no points. Resume brings it back. |
| Ended | The end date has passed or End was clicked. It can't be undone; the stats stay. |
On a live campaign you can change only the points budget, end date, boost, purchase bonus and walking bonus. To change anything else, pause it, edit, then click Resume. If your organisation isn't approved yet, an approved campaign goes live once the organisation is.
A QR code for print
When the camera can't recognise the ad (dark, far away), people can scan a QR code next to it instead. A QR scan earns points too, but only within 500 m of the spot.
- Open the campaign and click QR code on the Content tab.
- Choose Whole campaign or one spot, then the size and format: SVG for a print shop, PNG for an office printer.
- Click Download. Print the code at least 3 × 3 cm, or about 10 cm per metre of reading distance. Dark code on a light background, with a white margin.
Stats and reports
- A campaign's Stats tab: daily scans, scans by spot and by hour, the funnel from scan to purchase and an anonymous audience view. Groups under 5 people are hidden for privacy.
- Reports → Ads: scans, unique scanners, CTA clicks, codes claimed and redeemed, confirmed purchases and recorded revenue across all campaigns. Export CSV gives a table by day and campaign.
- The Purchases page lists every sale recorded with an AdsPog code, at the till and from an online shop (API). A sale recorded by mistake can be reversed there with Refund.

A scan count is not an audience size: one person can scan several times. Recorded revenue is the sum of sales logged in AdsPog, not extra revenue caused by the ad. Test users and refunded sales are left out.
Purchases from an online shop (API)
- On Settings → Integrations, click Create key and name it.
- Copy the key right away: it is shown only once.
- When a customer pays with an AdsPog code, your shop sends the sale from its server:
POST /v1/conversions, the key in theX-Spotly-Keyheader, the amount in qəpik. The sameorder_idnever creates a second sale.
AdsPog adds utm_source=spotly to the campaign's buy links, plus spotly_code when the customer has a code, so the shop can read it from there. When a key is no longer needed, click Revoke; requests with it are refused at once.
Community spots
AdsPog users add ads they see around the city, and others confirm them. On Community spots, look for your brand's ads and click Claim: a draft is created with the user's photo as the artwork and the location as a spot. You fill in the offer, points and texts, then submit it for review as usual. AdsPog, not you, pays the bonus to the person who added the spot.
